Cheryl Gibson Fountain, MD, FACOG, attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI 48201, and received her medical degree in 1987. Furthermore, she conducted her internship and obstetrics and gynecologic residency at the same teaching venue (1987-1992). In addition, Dr. Gibson received board certification in obstetrics and gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in 1999. She continues to maintain active professional memberships with the American Medical Association, the Detroit Medical Society, the National Medical Association. Past president of the Michigan State Medical Society, of which she continues to be a member, Dr. Gibson attained fellowship of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
